Cassandra Walters has an idea
I believe that the mentoring system in Army is not broken but has cracks. We focus on Military education, tactics, ethics, command however I do not believe that we focus enough on character and personal development especially for junior leaders. The character/personal is what I believe is the ‘gold’ that brings all of those pieces, being the education, tactics, command together and make a leader their unique self. The program is designed to enable open communication without fear about making mistakes; independent of judgement, We are often told that we should make mistakes, however the reality can be very different. The program will create an environment for mentoring.
