Our origins – What’s in a name?

Reading Time: < 1 minute Curiosity can breathe fresh ideas into a stagnant organisation and underpins our ability to adapt faster than the enemy. Looking ‘ground up’ links tactical action to strategy, while being ‘grounded’ also implies that disruptive ideas are nuanced with practical realities.

Nick Alexander

Reading Time: < 1 minute Nick is a current serving Australian Army Officer. A self-proclaimed geek and physiotherapist by trade, Nick is passionate about the future fight, technology, and the art of developing intellectually and physically resilient soldiers in order to be ready for the challenges that lie ahead.

Clare O’Neill

Reading Time: < 1 minute Clare is the Founder of Grounded Curiosity and the Defence Entrepreneurs Forum Australia, an innovation forum for junior leaders. Clare is an Engineers Australia Fellow, member of the Military Writers Guild and alumnus of the AALD’s Young Leadership Dialogue. Clare O’Neill has been the Chief of Army Scholar and a Fulbright Scholar at Georgetown University.
